Rohith De Silva, the famous mini driver in Sri Lanka has won the President’s Trophy in the cars (1050 cc category) at Thissamaharama race track. This track is to be Sri Lanka’s first international racing track, and is due to finish completion in 2010 (Thissamaharama Track) The Circuit was officially opened by Minister Chamal Rajapakse and Chairman of the D.A. Rajapakse Foundation Shashendra Rajapakse along with Officials of the Southern Motor Sports Club.
